We are currently seeking a highly motivated Cyber Security Executive to join our IT Operations Team at the Digicel Khalsa Office, reporting to the Head of Information Technology. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth and innovation!

The Cyber Security Executive is responsible for supporting and strengthening the organization’s cyber security posture through security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, security controls, compliance, cyber awareness and continuous improvement. The role will work closely with the Group SOC, Cyber uplift team, IT Infrastructure, Applications, Network and other teams to protect systems, endpoints, identities and data. Good knowledge of IT infrastructure and system administration is required to support security investigation and remediation

Core responsibilities:  

  • Cyber Security Operations
  • Administer and support security platforms including CrowdStrike, Proofpoint, OneLogin, Zscaler, Intune, Lookout MDM, Patch Management, Entra and other security tools.
  • Monitor security alerts, identify potential threats and coordinate remediation.
  • Maintain security configurations and controls in line with organizational policies.

 

  • Security Incident Response
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents raised by the Group SOC.
  • Perform initial triage, analysis, containment and remediation.
  • Coordinate with IT teams and conduct root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

 

  • Vulnerability & Patch Management
  • Support vulnerability scanning, assessment and remediation.
  • Monitor security patch compliance across endpoints and servers.
  • Support penetration testing and closure of identified security findings.

 

  • Identity & Access Security
  • Support security of Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Entra ID and OneLogin environments.
  • Support MFA, privileged access, user access reviews and account security controls.

 

  • Security Compliance & Assurance
  • Conduct periodic security reviews, audits and compliance checks.
  • Support internal/external security audits and remediation of findings.
  • Maintain security documentation, evidence and risk/action registers.

 

  • Security Monitoring & Reporting
  • Monitor and report on security posture, incidents, vulnerabilities, patch compliance and key security risks.
  • Provide regular security updates and recommendations to the Regional Head of IT.

 

  • Security Improvement
  • Identify security gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen the organisation’s overall security posture.
  • Keep up to date with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities and security technologies.
  • Support security awareness and other cyber security initiatives.

 

  • IT Infrastructure Security
  • Apply security knowledge across Windows, AD, servers, networking, cloud, virtualisation and Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Work with infrastructure teams on system hardening and security remediation.

 

Academic qualifications, Experience & Skills required for this role:

  • Degree/Diploma or professional qualification in Cyber Security, IT, Computer Science or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Cyber Security, IT Security or Security Operations.
  • Practical experience with enterprise security tools and security operations.
  • Good understanding of endpoint security, identity & access management, vulnerability management, incident response and cloud security.
  • Working knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft 365/Entra ID and networking.
  • Experience with security audits, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing are desirable.
