We are currently seeking a highly motivated IT Helpdesk Engineer to join our IT Operations Team at the Digicel Nabua office, reporting to the Head of IT Infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth and innovation!

This role is responsible for responding to inquiries and requests for Fiji HUB Markets by providing an avenue whereby all IT Helpdesk related problems are reported and resolved by the Help Desk Engineer or escalated to other members of the Department, on resolution, users are also provided with feedback and subsequent follow-ups.

Core responsibilities:  

Provide daily ITHD operation support & any project implementation support for:

  • Workstations, Windows AD, DNS, DHCP, WIFI
  • Entra ID, Office 365, Intune
  • 100% Compliance with all IT KPIs (i.e., SCCM, CrowdStrike, Patch Management, Window & MS Office, Bit Locker/encryption tools, MDM, MFA and other tools as per IT Security guidelines etc.)
  • Asset Management, Asset allocation, Onboarding/Off boarding, Effective alert & Monitoring process and keeping 100% accurate update of IT inventory.
  • Managing Access Control and CCTV systems
  • Timely resolution of all the tickets raised by all users (Within SLA)
  • Assisting in repair, replacement and procurement of new ITHD asset 
  • IT & Security Policy, Process & Audit Compliance

 

Academic qualifications, Experience & Skills required for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of IT support experience, preferably in IT Helpdesk role.
  • Handson exposure to Windows Desktop environments, Printers, Wi-Fi, CCTV including basic administration tasks.
  • Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft Intune
  • Microsoft 365 (basic administration of mailboxes, licenses, and Teams)
  • Network fundamentals (DHCP, DNS - basic understanding)
  • Experience performing system maintenance tasks, updates, patching, and monitoring.
  • Comfortable with troubleshooting hardware (Wi-Fi, network devices).
