IT System Administrator - Window, VM & Helpdesk

Responsible for IT helpdesk Support & Manage IT Infrastructure Services deployed for 6 pacific countries.

Core Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing Window servers, VMware environment, Storage & Backup Operation
• Provide technical and end user support for DNS, DHCP, Terminal Servers, Azure, O365, Microsoft Exchange, Office, SharePoint, SCCM, VMware and other hypervisor.
• Responsible for managing IT infrastructure application like Asset Management, CCTV, Biometric, Wi-Fi and Monitoring System
• Office & Data center security management.
• Configuration and maintenance of IT security for the Microsoft Windows Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Environments in accordance with the wider IT Security policies for Digicel Pacific Group.
• Monitoring and regular KPI reporting of all IT infrastructure  
• Ownership of policies and procedures pertaining to best practice administration and operations of the Microsoft Exchange/O365 Environment.
• Assisting with the implementation and integration of other IT and Business projects from time to time as per IT strategy
• IT Security Improvement: Ensure all system have Endpoint Protection installed and up to date with latest signatures. Symantec, Bit locker and other security tools operational always

Academic qualifications, experience and skills required for this role:

• Degree or Diploma in IT /Computer Science or related field with 4+ years of IT experience
• Knowledge in Windows Server and client Installation/Administration (Active Directory infrastructure, DNS, DHCP), File and Print Server Management, VMware ESXI Management and configurations.
• Backup systems both physical and virtual.
• MS Exchange Server and client Installation and Administration
• SQL Server set-up and basic Database Administration
• LAN /WAN and Wireless Installation, configuration, and Maintenance
• Considerable experience in PC Support area (BIOS, PC configuration, drivers, windows and office, and network connectivity)
