Area Manager

 

We are seeking to hire a highly motivated individual as an Area Manager with our Consumer Sales Department to be based in our Nabua Office. The role reports to the Regional Distribution Manager. The major duties of this job involve managing the distribution channel; Reseller and Dealers. The key component of this role is also distribution partner management.  This job will entail working at an extremely fast pace, and will require working cooperatively with and through the Consumer Sales Leadership Team, Finance, HR, Marketing, billing in order to complete tasks, and will be integral in motivating others.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and manage distribution channel of resellers and dealers.
  • Manage distribution partners to ensure robust market servicing as agreed.
  • Drive and achieve Area Sales targets for all products and services.
  • Consistently grow the channel to drive business growth.
  • Proactively review with Consumer Sales Leadership Team actual sales trends, customer insights and propose ways to effectively improve Sales Field & Customer Experience.
  • Develop area targeted sales roll out plans.
  • Coordinate the allocation of approved targets to channels and ensure that proper communication & workshop is conducted with Area Sales for effective impact.
  • Drive innovation, team development initiatives and efficiency within the role’s KFA to unlock team sales potential.
  • Continuous and targeted collaboration with both internal & external stakeholders to shape and deliver Consumer Segment strategies.

 

Academic qualifications, Skills & Experience required for this role:

 

  • A certificate or diploma in Business, Finance & or Marketing.
  • At least 2-3 years’ experience in a similar field.
  • Proven experience in consumer sales in a leadership role.
  • Ability to coach and develop staff to achieve set targets.
  • Prior experience in commercial or marketing is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A valid group 2 driver’s license is essential.
