This role will report to Head of Business Risk and will responsible for monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating closely with the IT team to maintain a secure and reliable RAFMS. Successful candidate will also lead the management and implementation of new controls, ensuring timely and effective implementation, continuous evaluation, and documentation of changes. Provide training to the business risk team, transfer ownership of controls to business risk analysts, and conduct regular reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement to ensure the controls remain effective and relevant.
Core Responsibilities:
- Responsible for monitoring performance and resolving any issues to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management System (RAFMS).
- Working in close partnership with the IT team to establish and maintain a secure RAFMS, regularly system backups, and managing any IT-related needs that may arise
- Generating data sources, importing data, and performing data transformations for Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management controls, such as anomaly detection, trend analysis, reconciliations, fraud detection controls, and alerts.
- Utilizing data visualization tools like Power BI to develop visually compelling reports, scorecards for KPIs, and easy-to-read dashboards that allow for quick insights and analysis.
- Demonstrating strong communication abilities, including the capacity to articulate requirements clearly and effectively to department heads, in order to ensure efficient collaboration and alignment of goals.
- Leading the management of implementing new controls and improving existing ones, through collaboration with relevant teams to ensure timely and effective implementation. This involves continuous evaluation of the performance of the controls and identifying areas that require improvement or modification to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, ensuring that all changes are well documented and communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
- Responsible for documentation of controls, providing training to the business risk team on their proper usage, and transferring ownership of the controls to the business risk analysts.
- Conducting regular reviews and evaluations of the controls to identify areas for improvement and ensure they remain effective and relevant.
Academic qualifications, experience and skills required for this role:
- Bachelor's degree in “Computer Science”, “Information Systems”. Alternatively, candidates may hold a certificate in “Oracle SQL”, “Power BI”, along with hands-on experience in “Oracle database development and Linux OS”
