Capex Executive

To assist team with capex accounting functions for Digicel Pacific Markets i.e. Fiji, Samoa, Vanuatu, Nauru, Tonga and PNG.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist with Project Code Creation for all markets.
• Generate Capex Open PO List and monitor Pending action items. Discuss with market admins on aged PO’s closure and ensure it is cleared by end of month reporting.
• Generate WIP (Work In Progress) Smart list and prepare WIP File for accountant's review.
• Save supporting documents for all capitalized items for internal and external audit purpose.
• Assist Accountant to maintain the cash capex tracker on a weekly basis.
• Assist with other fixed assets related projects and regulatory reporting a required.
• Perform fleet reconciliation.
• Assist in preparing Monthly GL Reconciliations.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Capex Accounting Manager on ad hoc basis

Academic qualifications, experience and skills required for this role

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Business Studies/ or Pursuing Degree & near to completion
• At Least 1-2 years’ experience in a similar environment or in accounting and finance environment.
• A good knowledge in Microsoft Excel, any billing system & Microsoft Great Plains would be an added advantage but not essential.
