We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual for the role of Human Resources Business Partner. This role will be based in the Digicel Fiji Office.
As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will collaborate with business leaders and managers to develop and implement Human Resources strategies, programs, and initiatives that support the organization's goals and objectives. You will serve as a subject matter expert on Human Resource matters, providing guidance and support to managers and employees, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead, oversee, and streamline the complete employee onboarding and offboarding process, encompassing recruitment, selection, and exits.
- Identify and attract top-tier candidates through diverse channels like networking, LinkedIn, referrals, and other reputable platforms.
- Maintain accurate data in HRIS systems (e.g., PayGlobal and Success Factors), ensuring meticulous record-keeping for new hires, departures, role transitions, benefits, leave, and payroll.
- Compile and submit bi-weekly payroll information promptly.
- Support in handling Employee Relations issues, including Disciplinary and Grievance Management.
- Efficiently coordinate engagement efforts with HR teams in Fiji/Hub and the Engagement Committee.
- Handle expatriate work permits and collaborate with external stakeholders on HR-related affairs.
- Aid the Human Resources Manager in regular and ad-hoc reporting tasks.
- Contribute to the evolution of human resources programs such as recruitment, retention, compensation, benefits, and Learning & Development.
- Monitor the Development Performance Review (DPR) process and assist in bonus payments.
- Supervise medical insurance for the HUB Market from end to end, ensuring accurate broker data and timely processing of debit and credit notes.
- Organize travel arrangements and manage expense reimbursements as needed.
- Conduct training sessions using various delivery methods for diverse audiences.
- Support managers and team leaders in aligning L&D activities with business goals and objectives.
- Navigate Success Factors proficiently to utilize all features in the Learning Management System.
Academic qualifications, Skills & Experience required for this role:
- Minimum of five years' experience in a comparable role.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Management, or Industrial Relations.
- Proficiency in Pay Global or similar HRIS software.
- Demonstrated expertise across various HR functions, particularly in recruitment, onboarding, change management, and employee relations, with a solid grasp of Fiji employment laws.
- Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic setting and guide leaders through organizational transitions.
- Self-driven, outcome-focused, and optimistic mindset.
- Dynamic personality with leadership qualities to spearhead HR initiatives.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple high-priority tasks concurrently.
