The role is responsible for supporting all IT Applications and implementation of any Project/Programs related to IT Applications all Pacific Markets. Responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of the organization's IT applications and work closely with other stakeholders to ensure that the applications meet business requirements and provide a high-level user satisfaction.]


Core Responsibilities:


  • Provide end to end Technical support and O&M for Great Plains, Workplace, GP, Pay Global, Hyperion/OEM, ESS, Point of Sale, Broadsoft, Qualatrics, Zendesk, Manage Engine (Ticketing Solution)/BMC, Ada, Swerve, Madme, Adjust, Workday, Success factor, DocuSign, Peakon and all other application related to IT, HR, CC, Finance, Commercial, Retails & other business departments
  • Maintaining an effective retail operation by ensuring proper application, system, monitoring systems & network etc. are in place as required
  • Assessing and validating business support systems designs/solutions in consideration of Digicel’ s IT strategy and business objectives
  • Managing all project/programs for the implementation of new IT applications as per IT strategy & business objectives
  • Custodian and maintaining the roadmap and configuration management process for Digicel’s business support systems.
  • Standardisation of support operations for day to day support functions, release, change management, Incident management and reconciliation across systems and revenue reporting environments.
  • Managing hands on trouble shooting for issues/faults affecting the application layer that have been escalated as persistent and/or causing significant disruption to the designate business.
  • Liaising and working with recommended suppliers/vendors as part of assessing new application technologies, releases/upgrades/new systems for Digicel. This may also involve negotiating with supplier/vendors as part of supporting the procurement process.
  • KPI reporting (e.g. release/changes, major issues, availability, etc.,) and Budget planning.
  • IT Security Improvement: Ensure all systems have are configured as per the company security policy.
  • Manage the development and deployment of IT applications across the organization, ensuring that they meet business requirements and provide a high level of user satisfaction.
  • Work closely with other stakeholders, such as business analysts, project managers, and IT infrastructure teams, to ensure that applications are integrated and work seamlessly with other systems.
  • Collaborate with the business to identify new opportunities for application development and enhancement.
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules for application development projects


Academic qualifications, experience and skills required for this role:


  • First/Associate Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of IT experience working in a telecommunications or similar environment, preferably in the areas of applications systems evaluation, business analysis and business case development, applications development, testing, deployment, configuration management, and ongoing maintenance and technical support.
