We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual for the role of Products Manager. The role reports to the Head of Business Solutions and will be based in Nabua.

 

The Product Manager is responsible for strategic planning and development of IT products and solutions for existing and new clients.

 

Core Responsibilities:

 

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals and requirements.
  • Developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation, and managing project budgets to ensure successful project execution.
  • Leading project teams, coordinating activities, and assigning tasks to team members, ensuring adherence to project schedules and milestones.
  • Identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize potential issues and ensure project success.
  • Communicating project progress, updates, and status reports to stakeholders and senior management, ensuring transparency and effective decision-making.
  • Managing changes to project scope, timelines, and requirements, and assessing their impact on project deliverables and resources.
  • Conducting regular project meetings and facilitating effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring adherence to project management methodologies, best practices, and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitoring and tracking project progress, identifying variances, and implementing corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Managing project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and documentation of project-related decisions and changes
  • Research and understand products and future trends that Digicel ICT could take advantage off.
  • Liaise with marketing to develop collateral and marketing material to position new and current products in the market place.

 

Academic qualifications, Skills & Experience required for this role:

 

  • A Degree in Networking or ICT technical qualifications – CCNA, Microsoft Certifications, PABX training etc.
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role at middle management level.
  • Sound understanding of ICT products and telecommunications
  • Strong relationship building skills with excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in leading teams with successful outcomes.
  • Proficient user of MS office.
  • Flexibility to travel to any Digicel markets when required.
  • Sound knowledge of project management processes.
  • A valid group 2 drivers’ license with no demerit points.
