Sales Trainer

 

We are seeking to hire highly a motivated individual as a Sales Trainer to be based in our Nabua Office reporting to the Commercial Manager. The role will be responsible for reviewing, developing and ensuring that the channel development initiatives are implemented effectively in line with agreed KPIs.

 

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Train newly inducted team members on Digicel way of selling, processes and products.
  • Train current employees on new products and services.
  • Develop  performance matrices to support Cross Sell, Up Sell, Increase in Residential Rates, Prepaid Services
  • Collaborate with Billing, Residential Sales Manager, Customer Care, Business Solutions, Technical and Retail to ensure that the Channel Development Plans are efficiently and effectively implemented and reviewed post Go Live.
  • Propose changes or introduction of processes and procedures to effectively drive performance with all Consumer Segments;
  • Deliver trainings to ensure that all Channels are aware of new services and products including refreshers to drive compliance level as required.
  • Identify the training needs of team members and provide requisite training to fill the gaps to build overall efficiency.
  • Ensure all in-house trainings are documented and submitted to L&D for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Conduct field and behavioural assessments on fortnightly basis to ensure compliance.

 

 

Academic qualifications, Skills & Experience required for this role:

  • A certificate or diploma in Training & Assessment.
  • Prior experience in Sales Management particularly in TV, Retail and, Prepaid Services.
  • Excellent skills in reviewing agreements and plans that will drive commercial KPIs.
  • Experience driving sales, implementing process improvements and reviewing quality products at all levels of prepay.
  • Demonstrated experience in team management, training and developing high performing talent.
  • Excellent presentation, engagement, process development and advance commercial skills.
  • Certified Resources Professional/Training Instructor/Training Officer.
  • Completed TOTs modules 1-4.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A valid group 2 driver’s license is desirable.
