We are seeking to hire a highly motivated individual in the role of Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our Business Solutions Team.

 

As a Cloud Infrastructure Solution Engineer, you will ensure the uptime and reliability of cloud-hosted solutions while designing and implementing cloud-based solutions tailored to meet customers' business needs. You will also play a crucial role in delivering exceptional cloud services to our clients.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to customers utilizing various cloud services such as MS 365, public/private hosting cloud, cloud telephony, and DRaaS.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, issues, and incidents related to cloud solutions through effective communication via email, chat, or phone.

  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, issues, and incidents related to cloud solutions through effective communication via email, chat, or phone.
  • Share technical knowledge with customers, assisting them in understanding and utilizing cloud services effectively.
  • Offer guidance on best practices for implementing and optimizing cloud solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation, including FAQs, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of support processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with development and engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide feedback to improve the usability and functionality of cloud services.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on cloud solution usage and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Stay updated on the latest features and updates of the cloud platform.
  • Take ownership of managing cloud services such as M365, Azure, private cloud, AWS, and others, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Supervise and maintain VMware environments and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) platforms, ensuring smooth operation and resource optimization.
  • Manage colocation infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
  • Oversee and maintain disaster recovery (DR) infrastructure to ensure business continuity and data protection.

Academic qualifications, Experience & Skill a required for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an ICT Support Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting, especially in MS 365, Cloud PBX, Cloud CCTV, and DRaaS cloud services.
  • Familiarity with operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified, Azure, M365, AWS, VMware/VEEAM certified are desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Technical proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
