Senior IT System Engineer

The  Senior IT System Engineer provide day to day O&M support & project implementation for all the IT Infrastructure environment for Digicel Pacific Hub Markets. The role involves working closely with the various IT Infrastructure teams across Pacific Group for specific IT Infrastructure related operational & projects related tasks.

Core Responsibilities:

• Windows AD, DNS, DHCP
• Office 365, Mail meter and OneLogin
• MS SCCM and SCOM
• VMware V-Sphere and Vxrail Environment
• Storage Systems (Dell, EMC, Hitachi, etc.) and FC Switches
• Backup Servers, backup Application & EMC Data Domain Etc.
• HPE, Dell and other Physical Servers
• Dell, HPE & other Tape Libraries
• Data Center Maintenance & Compliance management
• IT & Security Process Compliance
• Monitoring Systems, SolarWinds NPM, VM Manager, SAM, HPE OneView, Dell ESRS and Enterprise manager
• IT infrastructure project management, regular & effective reporting

Academic qualifications, experience and skills required for this role:

• First Degree, 3-year Diploma or professional qualification in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Excellent knowledge & experience IT Infrastructure & Data Center Operation
• Excellent knowledge and hands on experience in HW, Software & Networking
• Excellent knowledge of O365, One login, Proof point, Mail meter, Printer, CCTV, Access Management of IT helpdesk & Cyber security related applications
