We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join Digicel Tonga Limited as the Head of Consumer Sales. As the Head of Consumer Sales, you will be responsible for leading the consumer sales team, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets within the consumer market segment. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining key customer relationships, and maximizing profitability in the consumer sales division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the consumer sales strategy and business plans in alignment with Digicel Tonga’s objectives and market conditions.
  • Identify market trends, consumer needs, and competitive landscape to drive sales growth and capture new market opportunities within the consumer segment.
  • Set ambitious sales targets, establish sales forecasts, and develop strategies to achieve and exceed targets within the consumer market.
  • Set clear performance expectations, establish sales territories, and assign responsibilities to ensure optimal coverage and customer engagement within the consumer market segment.
  • Foster a high-performance culture, promote collaboration, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the consumer sales team.
  • Implement effective sales processes, tools, and systems to streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and improve sales productivity within the consumer sales division.
  • Monitor consumer sales performance, analyze sales data, and provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and develop and implement sales enablement initiatives.
  • Conduct market research, analyze competitor activities, and identify opportunities and threats to the Digicel’s consumer sales performance.
  • Monitor consumer sales performance against targets, analyze variances, and take corrective actions.
  • Provide input for pricing strategies, discounting policies, and revenue forecasting within the consumer market segment.
  • Foster strong customer relationships within the consumer market, serving as a point of escalation for key customers and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance consumer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role within the telecommunications industry, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and exceeding revenue targets within the consumer segment.
  • Strong understanding of consumer telecommunications products, services, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse consumer sales team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in sales process optimization, sales enablement, and CRM systems.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative sales strategies within the consumer market segment.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes within the consumer market.
