Mobile Financial Services (MFS) Distribution Executive

We are seeking to hire highly motivated individuals as a Mobile Financial Services (MFS) Distribution Executive to join our Mobile Financial Services team.

This role will be based at the Apia Office reporting to the Mobile Financial Services Lead. It plays a key role in driving the distribution and expansion of Digicel Samoa Limited's Mobile Financial Services offerings across Samoa. The incumbent will be responsible for developing and executing distribution strategies, managing distribution partners, and driving customer acquisition and engagement to achieve MFS business objectives.

Core Responsibilities:

Distribution Strategy and Planning:

• • Develop and implement distribution strategies to expand the reach of Digicel Samoa Limited's Mobile Financial Services offerings.
  • Conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for distribution channel optimization and expansion.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align distribution strategies with MFS business objectives and customer needs.

Distribution Partner Management:

• • Identify, onboard, and manage distribution partners, including agents, merchants, and other third-party distributors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, providing support, training, and incentives to drive performance and engagement.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of distribution partners, implementing strategies to address issues and optimize distribution efficiency.

Customer Acquisition and Engagement:

• • Work closely with marketing and sales Teams to develop and implement customer acquisition and engagement initiatives targeting MFS users.
  • Drive awareness and adoption of Digicel Samoa Limited's Mobile Financial Services offerings through targeted marketing campaigns, promotions, and customer education programs.
  • Analyze customer feedback and market insights to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements to improve customer experience and satisfaction.

Compliance and Risk Management:

• • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards governing Mobile Financial Services distribution activities.
  • Implement and enforce internal policies and procedures related to distribution partner management, customer due diligence, and risk mitigation.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of distribution activities to identify and address compliance and risk issues proactively.

Academic qualifications, Experience & Skill a required for this role:

Education

• • A tertiary qualification in Sales/Marketing, Commerce or Business Administration.

Experience

• • Previous experience in mobile money services, financial services, or telecommunications industry preferred.
  • Experience dealing directly with customers, handling transactions, and operating in a fast‑paced environment is desirable.
