We are seeking to hire a highly motivated individual in the role of Mobile Financial Services Business Development Executive to join our Fiji Mobile Financial Services Team based at the Nabua office, reporting to the MFS Manager.
As the MFS Business Development Executive, you will be the face of MyCash for corporate clients within your designated area. You will be responsible for the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation and negotiation to contract management and account growth. You will also work collaboratively with other sales channels to ensure a seamless customer experience and achieve overarching business objectives.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and communicate a clear vision and plan for your assigned territory, outlining strategies for partnership development and business growth.
- Serve as the main point of contact for corporate clients, building strong relationships and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Actively expand the MFS partner network to efficiently serve the B2B, B2C, and E-Money Inflow segments across the MyCash footprint.
- Manage the entire sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, contract finalization, and account onboarding and training.
- Tailor sales approach and value proposition to resonate with the specific priorities and objectives of each client segment.
- Implement effective strategies to achieve and exceed assigned MFS business targets as per budget within these sectors.
- Provide ongoing account management to ensure client satisfaction and drive revenue growth within these sectors.
- Collaborate with other sales channels (Retail, Direct Sales, etc.) to develop synergies and create unified customer service approaches.
- Conduct quality inspections and audits on all aspects of the MFS channel, identifying areas for improvement and recommending strategic enhancements.
- Ensure the MFS B2C channel adheres to established business and regulatory processes and procedures.
- Continuously review and optimize MFS channel processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Compile regular reports and updates as required by management, providing valuable insights into market trends, sales performance within Government, Banking, and NGO/DA sectors, and partnership progress.
- Develop and present strategic recommendations and business plans focused on expanding MyCash adoption within these key segments.
- Support the overall distribution network for MFS with the MFS Distribution team through audits, hygiene checks and any merchant/agent rollouts as required.
Academic qualifications, Experience & Skill a required for this role:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a sales or business development role.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business objectives.
- Strong understanding of the B2B and B2C sales processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in the financial services industry a strong plus.
- Experience working with mobile financial services platforms a bonus.
- Stay informed about relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements impacting these sectors.
