We are currently seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our Trend Media Team at the Nabua office, reporting to the Head of Home & Entertainment. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth and innovation!

This role will be required to drive and manage all aspects of sales for 360 advertising, survey, sms solutions to clients based in Fiji in order to achieve the Pacific Trend Media Budget.

Core responsibilities:  

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to build and maintain a strong sales pipeline.
  • Hold full accountability for generating mobile advertising revenue, including prospecting, cold calling, appointment setting, solution presentations, and deal closure.
  • Effectively sell integrated 360° advertising solutions, including survey and SMS packages, to corporate clients.
  • Consistently meet or exceed assigned sales budgets and revenue targets.
  • Develop, manage, and own senior-level relationships with Fiji Marketing, IT Billing, and Fiji Products teams.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Fiji’s dynamic business environment and continuously identify new sales opportunities.
  • Present and educate clients on the full portfolio of new media and digital advertising products.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute advertising strategies and campaigns for Digicel-partnered initiatives.
  • Continuously identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities to achieve agreed sales targets.
  • Plan, prepare, and execute high-impact meetings with prospective clients and strategic partners.
  • Manage direct advertiser relationships to drive new and recurring business, while proactively initiating ideas for growth opportunities.
  • Liaise closely with the Trend Media Regional team to remain fully informed of upcoming advertising product launches in Fiji.
  • Manage all operational expenditure and direct costs to ensure positive EBITDA outcomes.
  • Integrate regional deals into Fiji-based campaigns where applicable, and maintain comprehensive knowledge of new media products and their benefits to effectively engage clients.

Academic qualifications, Experience & Skills required for this role:

  • Degree or minimum of 4 years media sales experience
  • Digital Media knowledge is essential
  • Social Media campaign management experience
  • Experience in People and Performance Management
  • Proven client and campaign management
