We are currently seeking a highly motivated Human Resources Business Partner to join our Team in Nabua office, reporting to the Human Resources Manager - Fiji. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth and innovation!

 

The role is responsible for providing HR guidance, analyzing metrics, resolving employee relations issues, and working with management to improve work relationships and productivity.

 

Core responsibilities:  

  • Lead, manage and facilitate employee on-boarding and off boarding process (end to end recruitment, selection and exit process);
  • Source high potential applicants/ candidates using various means including networking, LinkedIn, referrals and other mediums that are credible.
  • Update; maintain accurate data into HRIS System and all record keeping for starters, leavers, position change, depending on the nature of profile changes, employee benefits and leave management.
  • Prepare and submit bi-weekly payroll data for the Fiji market.
  • Manage employee relations matters, disciplinary and grievance management for Fiji Market.
  • Efficiently manage all engagement activities along with the Hub HR Team and the Engagement Committee.
  • Managing end-to-end general administration of the Fiji HR team including purchases, expenses and staff uniforms and ID cards.
  • Working with suppliers to conceptualize and create branded merchandise for events and activities.
  • Assist the Human Resources Manager in monthly reporting for Fiji market and other ad-hoc reporting.
  • Participate in the continual development of HR programs, such as recruiting, retention, compensation, benefits, and Learning & Development.
  • Track the DPR process and assist the HR team in administering the completion of DPR process and bonus payments.
  • Monitor the OHS Committee meetings and support the Employee Engagement Committee on behalf of HR Team.
  • Ensure HR systems and personal files are always in Internal and External Audit ready state to ensure compliance;
  • Manage end-to-end medical insurance for the Fiji Market. Ensure broker data is accurate and up-to-date, all debit, and credit notes are actioned on time.
  • Attend to all employees’ queries about HR-related issues.
  • Arrange travel accommodations and process expense forms as required.

 

Academic qualifications, Experience & Skills required for this role:

  • Three + years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Degree in HR, Business, Management and or Industrial Relations.
  • Hands on experience with Pay Global or any other HRIS software.
  • Demonstrated experience in the various HR functional areas, especially recruitment, onboarding, change management, and employee relations.
  • A deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including good understanding of Fiji labour law.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to navigate leaders through a variety of organizational changes.
  • Self-motivated, result oriented with an “optimistic approach”.
  • Have passion for employee engagement & development.
  • Possessing a valid group 2 driver’s license would be an advantage.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Flexibility to travel when required
  • Ability to work unsupervised and handle multiple priority assignments simultaneously.
