We are currently seeking a highly motivated Inventory Manager to join our Consumer Team at the Digicel office in Nabua, reporting to the HOD Consumer. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth and innovation!

 

As an Inventory manager, you will be responsible to manage end‑to‑end inventory operations, including accurate stock tracking, forecasting, and monthly release planning. Supports retail and distribution needs, coordinates with sales, suppliers, and supply teams, and oversees stock movements and returns.

 

Core responsibilities:  

  • Ensuring accurate monitoring and recording of stock, re-ordering and managing optimum stock levels
  • On-going stock management
  • Forecast, plan and prioritize stock movements for monthly release schedule and ensuring the supply chain demands are met.
  • Managing Retail & Distribution stock needs and liaising with Sales Channels and Suppliers
  • Working closely with the supply team to ensure key release deadlines are met for the retail, corporate and distribution market.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with sales, manufacturing, distribution & courier departments.
  • Booking stock movements as required and managing retail returns process
  • Investigating inventory discrepancies
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and a high level of understanding of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel (v-lookup in particular) and Retail POS systems.
  • Work closely with Finance to prepare stock forecasts, secure approvals, and ensure alignment with budget targets.
  • Create and maintain product and inventory codes within the POS system for accurate tracking.
  • Set retail pricing and develop promotional strategies for prepaid products to maintain market competitiveness.
  •  Conduct regular store audits covering merchandising standards, display compliance, and inventory accuracy.
  •  Oversee stock clearance planning and execution to optimize sell‑through and reduce aged inventory.
  • Ensure operational compliance across retail and reseller channels through structured audit processes.
  • Provide timely stock insights, reporting, and recommendations to support cross‑functional decision‑making.

 

Academic qualifications, Experience & Skills required for this role:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a customer service or related role.
  • Diploma in procurement and supply or Diploma in business accounting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
