Manager Solutions Architecture

We are seeking to hire highly a motivated individual as a Manager Solutions Architecture to be based in Suva reporting to the Head of Business Solutions. The role will be responsible for leading the pre-sales function and driving customer-focused solution design across ICT, Cloud, and Managed Services. The role works closely with Sales, Technical, and Commercial teams to design, present, and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions that address customer needs, differentiate Digicel in the market, and enable revenue growth. This role also provides leadership, coaching, and direction to the pre-sales team.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the pre-sales team, ensuring they deliver high-quality solution designs and proposals that meet customer requirements.
• Act as the primary point of escalation for complex solutioning, pricing, and customer technical queries.
• Develop and maintain standard pre-sales methodologies, tools, and templates to drive consistency and efficiency.
• Partner with Sales to identify customer requirements through workshops, meetings, and consultations with key stakeholders.
• Translate customer business challenges into innovative technical solutions across ICT, Cloud, SaaS, IoT, Networking, and Managed Services.
• Conduct solution demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and presentations to customers and prospects.
• Maintain strong relationships with customer executives by taking a consultative approach and proactively addressing feedback on Digicel’s solutions and services.
• Monitor emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitor offerings to ensure Digicel solutions remain competitive and relevant.
• Collaborate with Vendors, Product, Technical, and Commercial teams to align pre-sales activities with product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies.
• Provide market intelligence and feedback to influence product development and solution improvements to the HOD
• Work with Sales leadership to review sales pipelines, identify solution gaps, and provide insights to drive revenue growth.
• Deliver accurate and timely reporting on pre-sales activities, customer engagements, and solution outcomes.
• Prepare solution forecasts, cost models and contribute to business cases, ROI analyses, and proposal documents for management.
• Ensure compliance with all documentation, proposals, and solution approval processes.
• Oversee the preparation of technical and commercial documentation, RFP/RFI responses, and solution diagrams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across pre-sales and solution design.

Academic qualifications, Skills & Experience required for this role:

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in pre-sales, solutions architecture, or ICT sales engineering, including team leadership responsibilities.
• Strong technical knowledge across ICT, Cloud (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS), Networking, Managed Services, IoT, and Telecoms.
• Proven experience designing and delivering customer-focused solutions in competitive markets.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to assess solution viability and profitability.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship management skills at C-suite level.
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing pre-sales teams.
• Flexibility to travel within Fiji and across Digicel markets as required.
