We are currently seeking a highly motivated Product Analyst to join our Business Solution Technical Team at the Khalsa office, reporting to the Head of Enterprise Products (Fiji Hub). This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth and innovation!

 

The Product Analyst will leverage B2B data insights to support strategic decisions in areas like product comparisons, revenue and competitor analysis, and market research. This role involves creating accurate reports, driving process improvements, and collaborating across teams to deliver clear, impactful insights. We’re looking for a fast learner with a passion for growth and excellence in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

 

Core responsibilities:  

  • Develop and maintain a project performance metrics, organizing and coordinating internal and external resources to ensure day-to-day productivity.
  • Manage your timelines to ensure tight delivery deadlines can be met with a responsible and go-getter attitude while able to work autonomously and simultaneously on multiple projects at the same time.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of commercial data, product performance, and market trends to provide actionable insights that inform product strategy and business decisions.
  • Monitor and analyze revenue streams to identify opportunities for growth, make recommendations for pricing strategies, and assess the financial performance of existing and new products.
  • Perform comprehensive product comparisons across key metrics to identify competitive advantages, gaps, and areas for improvement in our offerings.
  • Research and analyze competitor products and market positioning to inform our product development and marketing strategies, ensuring that we remain competitive in the marketplace.
  • Develop and track business segmentation with market penetration/share by each competitor creating an insight into impact on product category revenue performance, behavior and projections while working with risk & compliance to identifying possible revenue risk.
  • Conduct research to understand customer needs, trends, and emerging technologies in the telecommunications sector, providing recommendations for new product development and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports that communicate key performance indicators, insights, and trends to stakeholders across the organization.
  • Analyse business needs and field requests from team members to provide data, analytics, insights, reporting & dashboards with high data quality to drive sales/business growth
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and marketing, to align insights with organizational goals and support strategic initiatives.
  • Produce timely work for various teams and communicate effectively about needs and challenges as they arise. 
  • By incorporating feedback, you will refine reports with a keen eye for detail, demonstrating the ability to identify trends, patterns, and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting.

Academic qualifications, Experience & Skills required for this role:

  • 3+ years of experience in project management in an IT or Telecommunication related industry. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. 
  • Proven experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, or similar role, preferably within the telecommunications or B2B sectors. 
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Excel, Power BI and other analytical tools will be an advantage. 
  • Experience conducting competitor analysis, revenue forecasting, and market research. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner. 
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Familiarity with telecommunications products and market dynamics is highly desirable. 
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities 
  • Must be strategic, possess a strong attention to detail and have exceptional organization 
  • Ability to build compelling and high-caliber presentations and supporting content with a passion and interest for design. 
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Ability to proactively build rapport, credibility, influence, and get results throughout an organization at all levels, across many functions, in a highly-matrixed organization.
