Regional Chief Commercial Officer

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Regional Chief Commercial Officer to join our Commercial Team at the Nabua office, reporting to the Regional CEO. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our growth and innovation!

This role will be responsible for all aspects of Commercial operations of the mobile business in the Digicel Fiji Hub markets, ensuring first class customer experience and ultimately achievement of targets in respect of customers, ARPU and revenue.

Core responsibilities:  

• Responsibility for delivery of revenue and subscriber targets across Digicel Fiji Hub markets (Samoa, Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu & Nauru) for the Mobile, Home & Entertainment & Financial services Business.
• Leadership of all commercial strategy, key initiatives encompassing segment strategy, product strategy, pricing & value management, Customer experience and senior level strategic projects at a Pacific wide level to maximize holistic business performance across customer, revenues and gross margins for Digicel Fiji Hub from a long term and Annual perspective.
• Management of hub strategy for costs associated with Network, commercial, marketing, sales and distribution.
• Management of a customer-driven product portfolio by ensuring that the products and services are consistent with customers needs, co-coordinating inputs from the market CEOs and continuously reviewing portfolio mix.
• Work with product & service teams to conceptualize to develop Product Portfolio with existing and new revenue-generating opportunities. Ensuring consistency of pricing in products and services across the Digicel Fiji Hub including promotional campaigns.
• Pivot and support the digital transformation initiatives cutting across the customer lifetime stages to drive engagement and efficiency whilst driving differentiation.   
• Responsible for driving brand advocacy by the Marketing deliverables from leading the strategic NPS exercise for hub markets to communication strategy encompassing creative strategy through to design concepts to implementation of promotions, campaigns, PR communication & overall management of brand assets Ensuring look/feel of the Digicel brand are maintained & optimized across all markets in Fiji Hub in line with guidelines.
• Leadership and capability development.

Academic qualifications, Experience & Skills required for this role:

• Senior management capability with proven record in Commercial Management, Marketing, Sales & Distribution, People Management and Strategic Development.
• Over Fifteen years management experience in a Commercial, Strategy and Customer experience field with a leading Brand from either mobile telecommunications or within FMCG industries.
• A proven record of delivering customer focused, strategic plans with clear revenue goals across diverse
• Ability to create wide-vision strategies and drive the implementation with appropriate tactics.
• Strong people management, customer service and interpersonal skills with boardroom presence.
• Excellent knowledge of pricing and commercial analysis.
• Highly self-motivated, adaptable, an effective team player with persuasive & influencing skills.
• Highly effective leader with a proven ability to build teams in a multi-market operation context.
• A master degree in Business Management or a related discipline preferred. 
• Degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline with over 10 years at a senior management level.
